Late for work
Last Friday was one of those days when everything goes wrong. It all started with me oversleeping because my alarm didn’t (0) off.
It wasn’t the clock’s fault; I’d forgotten to set it the night before. That (1) before and I haven’t the slightest (2) why it happened last Thursday night, but it did.
Having got up almost half an hour later than usual, I realised there was no (3) of me catching the 7.30 train, unless I rushed. Since I really hate having to hurry, I decided just to aim for the next train and be late for work.
