Tips
- Duration: 5 minutes
- Adopt a friendly and open attitude
- Speak with a loud and clear voice
- Look at the audience (even when you are comparing the pictures, look up from time to time)
- Start with an overview (what you are going to talk about)
- Prepare sentences that allow smooth transitions between the different parts of your speech
- After the introduction, BP1 contains an analysis and comparison of pictures.
- In some cases, it might be helpful to look at the picture source provided in the footnotes
- When you get stuck, try to fill the time with examples or stories from your personal experience
- NEVER switch to German
- Do not let on when you are lost or stuck – smile and continue
- End with a short summary
- While it might be a good idea to write the first few sentences down, do not read your text from the sheet.

- Comparing the pictures (short description, interpretation, comparison)

Make transitions between the different parts.
